PGA uses Sportal as their public website and iMIS WCM and Public Views as the member portal.  Using IServices integration components PGA now has a single sign-on which allows access to both sites.

The login control on the Sportal site calls the IServices web service installed on the iMIS. NET application server at PGA.  This validates the user against iMIS and provides this authentication and membership status back to Sportal to control access to member only pages.

The single sign on set up during the login process ensures that a member can cross to the member portal to update their details or register for an event, without needing to separately login to the member portal.

IServices worked jointly with PGA and Sportal to implement this integration, which has been running seamlessly for over 12 months.
