IServices have developed the following integration points
between iMIS and Campaign Monitor:
Upload and maintain email lists.
When a member's email address is updated in iMIS the address is
automatically updated in the various email lists held in Campaign
Monitor. When a new list is required, the association staff can run
an iMIS query and the resulting list is uploaded to the email
marketing system.
Download results.
Campaign Monitor tracks the results of sending the emails. It
records if the email is received, (or if it is soft or hard
bounced), if it is opened, and what links in the email are
opened. It also records unsubscribe requests. IServices
have built the processes to extract this information from the email
marketing system and update the iMIS activity with the fact that
the email was sent and what actions were taken. The
unsubscribe requests are also recorded and used to subsequently
update the lists.
Website actions
IServices has provided the integration path so that if a user has
been directed to a website page from the marketing email, and takes
a specific action, this action will also be recorded back into
iMIS.
