Umbraco and iMIS are a match made in heaven

Umbraco CMS and iMIS

If you're looking for an open source content management system that integrates with iMIS take a look at Umbraco .  This CMS has been around for a few years now and the support community and popularity of it is really taking off.

IServices are certified Umbraco solution providers and we have fully integrated Umbraco to the iMIS system.  A lot of our customers are already using this and have provided good feedback.

If you're evaluating content management systems we recommend throwing Umbraco into the mix.

IServices attends the iMIS Innovations 2010 conference

iMIS Innovations 2010

In May this year IServices Director Newlin Jolme attended the ASI Innovations conference in Texas.  See the press release for a detailed overview of the event.

Of particular interest was the new additions coming as part of iMIS 15.1.3, avaiable later this year, including WCM improvements, a new template and a number of standard iParts that can be used in place of the public views.  The continual development of the standard ASI web services is encouraging and there was plenty of information on other iMIS products including iDashboards, Task Centre and Social Networking.

As always it was great to catch up with all the US and Europe ASI staff and solution providers and get a look at trends emerging world wide.  If you are interested in more detail on any of the sessions contact Newlin at IServices or make a date to attend the local NiUG user group conference held in Cairns this year on October 13 - 15.
